Rapper Megan Thee Stallion was granted a five-year restraining order against convicted felon Tory Lanez. Megan Pete pleaded with the court, sharing that she hasn't been able to have peace since Lanez shot her. The traumatic incident has left her on edge and reluctant to leave her home.

Reportedly, he utilizes blogs to harass and defame the rapper without consequences. That was until now. The order forbids him from coming within 100 feet of the rapper, from contacting her directly or indirectly, and from harassing, threatening, or disturbing her in any way.

The shooting, which occurred in July 2020, has yet to find a definite end. Charged by the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, Lanez, whose real name is Daystar Peterson, has continued to level attacks at Pete. Even after his sentencing, he has still made it a priority to harass the Grammy-winning rapper. This has continued to fuel online commentators to spread false information, unwarranted commentary, and harassment.

Lanez received a guilty verdict on all charges, specifically assault with a firearm, unlawful possession of a firearm, and careless discharge of a weapon, resulting in the shooting of the victim in December 2022. Further evidence was released later, including a phone call admitting to the assault. He was sentenced to ten years in jail in August 2023.

Despite all of the facts presented, "Free Tory" agitators are still loud and proud. Unfortunately, that is to be expected in the name of misogynoir.
